It’s your mom. I’ve had you in my belly now for 31 weeks (although I only knew you were in there for 28). I owe all the positive changes over the past 7 months to you, you have amplified my life for the better in so many ways and have truly brought out the best in me. I cannot wait to meet you and for the positive changes to continue. Dad is wonderful and has been the best support system possible…he talks and reads to you, makes sure you are well nourished, helps me feel better when pregnancy becomes uncomfortable, is caring, understanding, loving and overall wonderful. I hope that you turn into a mini version of him (with lots of me in you also). We are getting ready to move next week so we have the perfect space to bring you into this world. Although we love where we live now, we are moving to a more family-friendly neighborhood with a backyard, walking trails, wide streets and sidewalks, a pool and community center, and the best part…closer to all of your grandparents!

You have made this pregnancy pretty easy so far…my morning sickness was minimal, i’ve had very few aches and pains (so far), you haven’t been making me crave anything too unhealthy or weird so I haven’t ballooned out (yet-haha). You are very active and I felt you flutter around 18 weeks and felt your first kick between 20 & 21 weeks. Dad felt you at 22 weeks from the outside and we both fell even more in love with you. The kicks, jabs, elbows & head butts are becoming more dramatic as you are getting bigger (4 lbs to be precise)…you are practicing to be a soccer player just like your dad. You are expected to gain 1/2 lb each week until you arrive so I anticipate the movements will become even stronger although soon you will run out of space in there!
